I know this is early but please stay with me on this:
I will be a IBSA this summer at a mid-tier BB. I am a junior at a semi-target.
I am worried about my GPA for PE recruiting. Right now I have a 3.00 from 1 semester (I transferred).
I am an Econ major and finance minor. It is going to be ridiculously hard for me to get it up since I did all my core classes at my past school so it is really just technical econ classes and finance now. I am horrible at Econ (major is really hard here).
I am thinking I can end up trying not to go under 3.0, and maybe get a 3.1. Is that screwing me for PE recruiting and MBA recruiting?
Or, I can drop my econ major, switch to Philosophy, and keep my finance minor, and get closer to a 3.5.
Please advise. I am really stressing out about this. I am not lazy, I am just terrible at Econ (I HATE it). Love Finance though. And switching to a finance major is not an option by the way.
THANKS
