What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?:
Even it was first round interview, they started directly with case study instead of interview questions. Which was quite odd but seems wanted to check the quick deal sourcing skills right away. Case study was not hard but the fact that company was private and had limited information available. I had laptop and brief description of company and its operations and i had access to the internet if wanted to check more about the business. After 1.5hour at the office, I discussed my findings with the team member.

How did you answer each of these questions (please be specific)?:
They provided brief financial information, basic numbers such as historical Sales and EBIT with couple of years forecasts. I did not focused on the market that much, as private company i had limited data available regarding pricing and valuations. i mainly focused on the business model and what they actually does and what makes the company attractive to the them or in their portfolio.
They asked to write investment memo at the end. Thus i started with executive summary, market overview, recent similar transactions, and mainly focused on core product and operations.
